Can't believe it's the Feb. 1st! Where does the time go?
For the last two weeks Marlin and I have been setting up Dr. Randa's office in Simi Valley. Marlin has been working during the week and I went with him for two Saturdays. We've have great fun getting to know her and sharing this experience with her. God is surely using us in a great variety of ways this new year. We just keeping planting the seeds wherever he leads us. It's quite an adventure.
Got great news that Marlin's girls are both coming to visit in March. We will have a houseful of people in the middle of March. Deborah was going to come in Feb. but decide she wanted to see Miriam and her family. What fun we will have!!!
We started our new Bible Study on Thursday and it went great. We are doing a study called "God Conversations." It is teaching us to defend our faith with illustrations and stories that unbelievers will remember and hopefully ask more questions about our Lord.
Daniel and Bryan's families are doing well. The babies having a great time living in the same house. Emma is learning to walk and both girls have discovered Facebook. We are having a great time keeping up with each other through Facebook. Technology is so much fun when we are miles apart. Keep praying for Daniel as he learns his new job. God has been good to them by selling their house and giving them both great stable jobs.
My Cardinals lost the game but what a GAME!! The dryer is buzzing so I'm off to finish up the laundry.
Have a great February.

Happy New Year 2009
It's a new year and I'm going to try this blogging thing again. I notice that's been a year since I wrote anything. Life is often so busy I don't take time to write.
Last year was filled with lots of blessings. We have added three grandbabies to our family. Daniel, Bryan and Miriam all had their first child. We have two boys and one girl. Daniel's Braydon was 1 year in December 08. Miriam's Eli turned one this month and Bryan's Emma will turn one in March 09. Jonathan got a new job at a great church Minneapolis and his Abigail started school.
The new year has brought lots of new adventures for us and our families:
Jonathan is in Bangkok this week on an extended mission trip for his church in Minneapolis. It's been fun following his blog and sharing in his adventure.
Daniel and Becky sold their house this month and Daniel has a new job. They are staying with Bryan and Amy till they find a new place. PTL their house sold in two weeks. The cousins will be like brother and sister for a few months. What fun for them!
Deborah is still looking for a job in Wichita. Life has been tough for her lately but she is quite a trooper. Hard times do make you a better person.
Miriam is a full time mom in British Columbia and loving every minute. She and Todd are great parents. They will be down to visit us in March over Springbreak.
Marlin was elected as a Governor for the Television Academy this year. His duties has open the door to many opportunities. He is enjoying the new doors and the new adventures God has prepared for him.
I'm still at UPP plugging away at my mission field. PTL! I'm blessed to even have a job in this slow economy. I'm still involved in Stephen's Ministry at my church and LOVING IT. So many great people walked with me in my crisis, it's fun to return the blessings to others. I've just started a new Bible Study Book called God Converstions. I'm excited to see how we grow as we learn a new way to share our faith.
That's all for now. I will try to be more faithful in writing. Off to work I go.

March, 9,2008
It's Sunday and we are still sick. This stuff keeps hanging on. I went to work Thursday and Friday, did some errands on Saturday but today both of us are feeling bad again. The weather is gorgeous here. I want to spring cleaning but I have no energy.
I talked to Bryan on Friday and we still have no baby girl. Amy goes to the doctor every Monday. Bryan thinks next weekend would be a great time for her appearance. They are ready and waiting! The car seat is in the car and the stroller has been purchased. IT'S TIME!!!
Things at work are changing. Ours sales dept. is panicking since we have not any new clients this year. Our business model of product placement is changing and the VP of sales doesn't know what to sell. I may have to get my resume together and start lokking for a new job.
That's all the news from CA. Pray that we get better soon. Have a great week in the Lord.

Sick at Home-March 4, 2008
Marlin & I are both sick. We have been this way since Sunday. I went to work yesterday but I'm home today trying to rest plus take care of my husband.
I was inspired by Paula to start blogging about our life in CA. We are so homesick for our kids and grandkids. I thought maybe this would be a way to stay in touch with each other and feel more connected.
The weather is beautiful outside but the weather inside is cold then hot, quiet then grumpy plus very germy.
