It's a new year and I'm going to try this blogging thing again. I notice that's been a year since I wrote anything. Life is often so busy I don't take time to write.
Last year was filled with lots of blessings. We have added three grandbabies to our family. Daniel, Bryan and Miriam all had their first child. We have two boys and one girl. Daniel's Braydon was 1 year in December 08. Miriam's Eli turned one this month and Bryan's Emma will turn one in March 09. Jonathan got a new job at a great church Minneapolis and his Abigail started school.
The new year has brought lots of new adventures for us and our families:
Jonathan is in Bangkok this week on an extended mission trip for his church in Minneapolis. It's been fun following his blog and sharing in his adventure.
Daniel and Becky sold their house this month and Daniel has a new job. They are staying with Bryan and Amy till they find a new place. PTL their house sold in two weeks. The cousins will be like brother and sister for a few months. What fun for them!
Deborah is still looking for a job in Wichita. Life has been tough for her lately but she is quite a trooper. Hard times do make you a better person.
Miriam is a full time mom in British Columbia and loving every minute. She and Todd are great parents. They will be down to visit us in March over Springbreak.
Marlin was elected as a Governor for the Television Academy this year. His duties has open the door to many opportunities. He is enjoying the new doors and the new adventures God has prepared for him.
I'm still at UPP plugging away at my mission field. PTL! I'm blessed to even have a job in this slow economy. I'm still involved in Stephen's Ministry at my church and LOVING IT. So many great people walked with me in my crisis, it's fun to return the blessings to others. I've just started a new Bible Study Book called God Converstions. I'm excited to see how we grow as we learn a new way to share our faith.
That's all for now. I will try to be more faithful in writing. Off to work I go.
